For three weeks in late summer, the Edinburgh International Festival presents instrumental music, opera, theater and dance performances in venues throughout the city. It runs concurrently with the original "Fringe Festival" on which the popular Twin Cities' Fringe Festival is modeled.  It is only one of several arts festivals which have a home in the city. The Orchestra will perform Samuel Barber’s Essay No. 1, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 and Stravinsky’s Petrushka at Usher Hall on August 25th. Q & A
